As an Advisory Board Member, you'll play a key role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction, expanding our impact, and fostering meaningful connections across chapters.

The Role

As a member of the FOWES Advisory Board, you will:

  • Provide strategic insight to strengthen FOWES’s mission and outreach

  • Support fundraising, partnerships, and program development

  • Act as a thought leader and mentor within our growing community

  • Serve as an ambassador for FOWES globally

  • Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual), participate in key events

The Fit

  1. Experienced in entrepreneurship, community building, philanthropy, or nonprofit leadership

  3. Connected with global or local networks that align with our mission

  5. Available to contribute time, ideas, and energy consistently for at least 2 years

The Term

Program Director

As a Program Directory, you will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of key programs while driving innovation to support women’s growth in various sectors.

The Role

  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of all FOWES programs

  • Manage day-to-day operations of global programs, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local and international stakeholders

  • Lead a team of staff and volunteers to ensure the smooth delivery of programs

  • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability

  • Monitor program performance and provide data-driven insights to improve outcomes

  • Foster innovation to ensure programs meet the evolving needs of women entrepreneurs globally

  1. Experienced in program development and management within the nonprofit sector

  2. Strategic with a proven track record of executing successful programs

Fundraising Director

As a Fundraising Directory, you will lead and drive fundraising efforts for FOWES. In this role, you’ll play a critical role in securing the financial resources necessary to support our mission of empowering women entrepreneurs and professionals. You’ll develop and execute fundraising strategies, build relationships with donors and sponsors, and lead the charge to ensure the sustainability of our programs.

The Role

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet organizational goals

  • Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors

  • Lead the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives

  • Build and maintain a donor database, tracking contributions and ensuring timely recognition

  • Work closely with the Program and Communications teams to align fundraising with organizational priorities

  • Manage and monitor fundraising budgets and performance metrics to ensure financial sustainability

  • Research new funding opportunities and innovative approaches to fundraising

  1. Experienced in nonprofit fundraising, including individual and corporate giving, grant writing, and event planning
