Each programme serves a distinct area of women's development:
- AscendHer (AH4) - Leadership growth for women stepping into roles of influence in business and community.
- EmpowHer (EH2) - Entrepreneurial growth, mentorship, and resources for women building or scaling a business.
- HealHer (HH4) - A safe space for survivors of abuse, assault, and gender-based harm to find support and begin healing.
- ReviveHer (RH3) - Holistic health and wellness for women prioritising their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
You can participate in more than one programme. Use the Programme ID when expressing interest by email.
FOWES offers workshops in both formats depending on the programme and location. Many workshops are available virtually to ensure accessibility for women across Canada and internationally. Retreats and certain community circles are held in-person at specific locations.
Format details are shared when you register or express interest. Email support@fowes.org to ask about upcoming delivery formats for a specific workshop.
Registration details are announced through the FOWES website, newsletter, and social media. To be notified when registrations open, join the FOWES community via the Connect page, or email support@fowes.org to be added to the interest list for a specific event.
Space at retreats is intentionally limited to preserve the quality of the experience, so early expression of interest is encouraged.
No, FOWES is a global network. While we are a Canadian registered association headquartered in Montreal, our community includes women from across the world. Many of our virtual programmes and community circles are open to international participants.
In-person events and retreats are held primarily in Canada, but we are actively growing our global presence. Visit the FOWES Global page for more information.
We welcome partnerships with organizations, businesses, and individuals who share our mission. To explore partnership or sponsorship opportunities, reach out directly via the Connect page or email support@fowes.org with a brief introduction.
Our team will respond within 3-5 business days to discuss how we can work together meaningfully.
Pricing varies by programme and event type. Some workshops and community circles are offered free or on a sliding scale to ensure accessibility. Retreats and certain leadership programmes may carry a registration fee that reflects accommodation, facilitation, and materials.
We are committed to accessibility and offer bursary or subsidised places in some programmes. If cost is a barrier, please reach out to us; we will do our best to find a pathway for you.
If you are in immediate danger, call 9-1-1. Nunavut residents should call 1-1-1-1.
For crisis support lines, please visit the Resources & Helplines tab on this page. All numbers are available 24/7. FOWES is not a crisis service, but we can help connect you with the right support. Email support@fowes.org and our team will respond as soon as possible.
